<p>A multidirectional input device called a joy stick capable of suppressing the overall height thereof and also increasing an accuracy with which operating members and rotating members are returned to neutral positions, wherein rotating shaft parts (35, 35) projecting in two directions perpendicular to each other are provided on the underside of an operating member (30) integrally with each other, a disk part (32) is provided on the underside of the rotating shaft parts (35, 35), a recessed part (46B) rotatably storing a disk part (32) is provided on the underside of a rotating member (40B), bearing parts (47B, 47B) fitted to the rotating shaft parts (35, 35) are provided on the inner surface of the recessed part (46B), flat surfaces (44A, 44B) are provided on both end shaft parts of the rotating members (40A, 40B), and an annular slider (50) energized by a spring (60) is brought into elastic contact with a lower surface (34) of the disk part (32) and the flat surfaces (44A, 44B) of the rotating members (40A, 40B) from the underside.</p> |
