The method involves measuring at least three mutually independent parameters as soon as possible after starting the machine, e.g. the electrical resistance/conductance of the wash, the variation with time of the temp. at the drum inlet and the temp. difference or rise at the drum outlet. The parameters are correlated with each other and used to predict drying time.
