The invention relates to a hinged-lid package for cigarettes or other packaged items, consisting of a package part (10), a lid (11) and a collar (12) with an auxiliary closing element for the lid (11). Projecting parts oriented inward, i.e. locking tabs (37), are disposed on the inner side of a front wall (21) of a lid or an inner tab (28) of a lid, said projecting parts cooperating and interlocking with the recesses in the area of a front wall (32) of a collar when placed in closing position. The recesses in the area of the front wall of the collar (32) are positioned directly above a matching closing edge (30) formed by a front wall (14) of the package when the locking tabs (37) are appropriately disposed in the inner tabs (28) of the lid.
