The energy feed chain (10) has a number of chain links (12) coupled together via pivoted coupling elements (14) and cooperating for defining a guide channel (24) for reception of flexible electrical or hydraulic lines. The coupling elements are attached to each of the chain links adjacent the center of the latter, so that they can pivot about parallel rotation axes (16) when the energy feed chain is passed around a curve.
