摘要 The appts. to correct the alignment of moving fabric piecegoods, along their longitudinal line, has a segment roller (5) with a number of segments (6) on its axis across the direction of fabric (3) travel. The fabric (3) lies against sections of the mantle surfaces of at least a part of the segments (6). The signals from the sensor system act on the separate roller segments (6) to adjust their rotary speed and/or the angle of the fabric (3) lie on the mantle surfaces of the segments (6). The segment roller (5) is over the fabric (3) to lie on its upper surface. Separate suspensions (7) are at the ends of the longitudinal sides of the segments (6), to mount the roller (5) at the holder. The lower ends of the suspensions (7) are mounted at the rotary axes of the segments (6), vertically upwards from them to the holder. The separate segments (6) can be moved vertically upwards by their suspensions (7). The magnitude of the segment (6) movement path is determined by the sensor signals, and each segment (6) has an individual internal drive motor (10), with the motor power supply lines through the suspensions (7). The segments (6) rotate with a surface speed of 5-80 m/min. and the fabric (3) travels at a speed of 20-50 m/min. The segments (6) are deployed across the whole fabric (3) width, where the segment roller (5) is divided into a number (N) of segments (6) on a scale of 4 <= N <= 10. The segments (6) have a mantle cladding to give a friction grip, and the segments (6) are identical. The sensor system has a number of optical sensors across the fabric (3) width, as distance sensors working on a triangulation principle, or the sensors are light scanners. Each light scanning sensor has a light beam transmitter and a light receiver. The transmitted light beams travel through an optic fiber and an optical transmission lens system to be directed at the fabric (3). The reflected light beams are registered by receiver lenses, next to the transmitters, to be carried to the receivers by optic fibers. The fabric piecegoods (3) are woven, knitted or warp knitted, moving through a fabric finishing machine with a stenter frame.
