An air-cooled bridge converter connection has several power thyristors (T1-T6) which are each arranged in a clamped stack array arranged between two cooling bodies (20), in which each power thyristor is assigned an RC-network (2) and a trigger module (4), in which the network resistors (R) are each releasably connected to a corresponding cooling body (20) and in which the trigger modules (4) and the RC-network capacitors (C) are connected to the clamped stack array. Each cooling body (20) is electrically connected on either side to a carrier rail (22), and each trigger module is connected to the carrier rail in such a way that a cathode potential terminal (8) of the trigger module (4) is electrically conductively connected to this carrier rail (22), and the RC-network capacitors (C) are connected one above the other beside the clamped stack array.
