The device consists of two identical sections which are both equipped with two wrist sleeves (3). The sleeves enclose the wrist tightly on the application of a pulling rope, and support the hold of the hand on a hand grip as well as preventing the hand from being pulled out of the device. Only one rescue rope is required due to the design of the device. The device is also provided with an intercom (5) having an interior light and two control lights.
