The endoscope has rod shaped section (10) having illuminator and observation unit. A radio transmitter transmits the change observed by observation unit to receiver (11a) in an external operating unit (11) by wireless transmission. An in-built power system is provided in the endoscope. A curved section (11c) is provided in a rod shaped section. A flexible section in endoscope deforms when external face is acted.
