<p>A fibre-reinforced plastics golf club shaft is constituted by two inner layers of unidirectionally laid reinforcing fibres which are laid at an angle to each other and to the axis of the shaft. The inner layers are then covered by either (Fig. 2) a tape of unidirectional fibres or (Fig. 4) a braided tube of fibres.</p> |
