The frame for a bed or seat has the upper part of the frame (6) connected to the base (1) via a pivot (9a). A short pivoted bar (10) connects the upper frame with the base at the front. A longer pivoted bar (11) above the first connects the upper frame and the base at the back. The distance between their two attachment points on the base (13, 15) is greater than the distance between their attachment points on the upper part of the frame (12, 14). The upper part of the frame is held in position by a spring. |
