PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine that can evoke player's expectation from an early stage to enter possible winning state by key pushing. SOLUTION: A game state switcher 110 switches the game state between the winning-possible state that a winning pattern can appear by pressing stop switches 12a to 12c at a prescribed timing and the winning-impossible state that the winning pattern can not appear regardless of timing of pressing stop switches. A game state predictor 130 gives the notice that the game state entered the winning-possible state and the prediction that this notice is made in the near future. The game state switching means 110 surely conducts, when the prediction was given, to shift the game state into the winning-possible state before a prescribed period of time after that and concurrently to notice that fact.
