PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sanitize a whole refuse system and to reduce the cost of the system by fitting a waste supply container to the supply port of a heating/compressing mechanism. SOLUTION: A heating/compressing apparatus 1 is made to be separated from lower part structure 2 in which a heating/compressing surface part 4 which can be drawn out and moved is placed. A heating surface 3 is formed in the shape of a dish or a plate having a surface temperature measuring piece 7. An upper surface heating plate 6 is pre-heated to be pressure by hand, a lever or the like, and to be heated/compressed while being loaded with the part 4, or the like drawn from a part 2. During use, waste plastic refuse and the like which are packed in a high density polyethylene bag, are put into the treatment chamber of the apparatus 1, treated with a heater heated and with a pressure plate 6 mounted, and pushed by hand, a weight, a lever or the like, to be heated/compressed for the reduction of the volume of them. In this way, since the refuse fuel of products or a recycling raw material can be taken out after being cooled or directly to be compressed additionally, a refuse system can be sanitized.
