PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress equipment costs for delivering gas into the water to a low degree by extracting gas from an extraction port provided at a low pressure portion of a supercharger and delivering gas into the water and to properly design a propulsion engine. SOLUTION: Gas is extracted from an extraction port 19 provided at a low pressure compression part 3 of a supercharger 2 and the gas is delivered into the water. As a result, because a gas supply device such as a blower for delivering gas into the water is not required to be installed and equipment for lowering pressure of gas extracted from the supercharger 2 up to pressure suitable for delivery into the water becomes unnecessary because gas is extracted from a low pressure compression part 3 of the supercharger 2, equipment cost can be reduced. Because air bubbles are generated by gas extracted from the supercharger 2 and frictional resistance of a hull is reduced by the air bubbles, a specification of a propulsion engine which is mainly constituted of a main machine 1 and the supercharger 2 is directly connected with a reducing effect of frictional resistance by air bubbles and thereby the propulsion engine can be properly designed.
