PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adapt a hip joint more to natural moving process, thus enabling a comfortable way of walking much as possible. SOLUTION: The upper portions of a front connecting rod 5 and a rear connecting rod 6 are hingedly attached respectively to the front and rear of an upper lateral connecting rod 7 by first single-axis hinge coupling, and the lower portions of the front connecting rod 5 and the rear connecting rod 6 are hingedly attached respectively to the front and rear of a lower lateral connecting rod 8 by third and fourth single-axis hinge couplings 3, 4, respectively, with the upper lateral connecting rod 7 having a connecting means 9 for attaching to a socket for a prosthesis. The lower lateral connecting rod 8 has an adapter 10 for removably attaching to an artificial leg, and the first and second single-axis hinge couplings 1, 3 have both at least five degrees of freedom, with the second single-axis hinge coupling 3 being an articulates axis rotational member.
