PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed ring which is easy in manufacture and inexpensive. SOLUTION: In the toothed ring, uneven teeth 5 are formed on an outer circumferential side surface of a ring-shaped plate 9, and the plate is turned by 90 deg. in the cylindrical shape. The manufacturing method of the toothed ring 1 includes a first process in which the plate is punched into a ring, and uneven teeth 5 are formed on its outer circumferential side surface, and a second process in which the plate is turned by 90 deg. by pressing an inner circumferential part of the ring-shaped plate normal to the plane of the plate to form the plate into a cylindrical shape. Since the plate is only appropriately blanked and turned, the toothed ring can be easily manufactured at a low cost.
