PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use combustion heat from a burner in a grill chamber. SOLUTION: Long flame is spread to the oblique upward side from an upper nozzle 43 of the outside of a grill chamber 2 to ignite an upper burner 5 in the grill chamber 2 through a small hole 42 for guiding flame. Meanwhile, a flame port for catching fire extending along a horizontal hollow space 21 of a burner 18b for transferring pilot light ignites combustion gas ejecting out of each nozzle body 34 in turn to spread flame from the burner port of each nozzle body 34. In this way, both faces of a food F to be cooked are broiled. As it is unnecessary to extend the upper burner 5 to the rear outside of the grill chamber 2 through the upper nozzle 43 and hence, the combustion heat can be effectively used in the grill chamber 2.
