PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pot wherein the durability of a switch is ensured within the life of a contact of a hot water feed switch, and safety is enhanced when hot water is supplied, while the usability of a user who performs an ordinary operation is not lowered. SOLUTION: In an electric pot including a vessel 3 storing liquid, an electrically driven pump 5 to deliver the liquid in the vessel 3, a hot water feed switch which is operated to actuate the pump 5, a control circuit 8 to control the pump 5 based on signals from the switch, a timer is set to count the time elapsed after an off signal was received from the switch, and unless the timer counts a predetermined time, even if an off signal is received from the switch 10, the pump 5 is inhibited from delivering liquid.
