PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drying performance from being degraded by the fall of water drops by providing the inside top surface of an inner lid of a tableware washing machine with ribs in a longitudinal direction of a specific height and rib width and subjecting their surfaces to a corona discharge treatment. SOLUTION: The tableware washing machine is constituted by arranging a tableware housing tank 3 within an outer frame and providing the top surface thereof with an upwardly opening lid 4. At this time, electrons are implanted to the inside top surface of the inner lid 101 disposed at the lid 4 to the extent of not clouding the surface, by which wettability is enhanced. The inside top surface is provided with in this state with the ribs 103a to 103c of <=0.6 in height and <=2 mm in width determined to meet the sizes of the water drops. The ribs 103a returns the water to the tableware housing tank 3 along the ribs 103a when the water sticks to the inner lid 101 at the time of washing or rinsing. The water drops are otherwise dropped to the tableware housing tank 3 by the peak parts of the ribs 103a. The ribs 103b prevent the tableware in the tableware housing tank 3 from being splashed with the water drops flowing down along the ribs 103a when the lid 4 is opened.
