PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce an air filter, in which pressure drop is small, at a low cost. SOLUTION: A pair of partition members 7 consisting of material easily impregnated with an adhesive are oppositely arranged at a prescribed interval on the surface of a top board 2 or a bottom board 3. The adhesive is poured into the grooves formed between a pair of partition members 7 and also a part of the poured adhesive is impregnated into the edge parts of the partition members 7. Before the adhesive is hardened, the edge part of a filter medium 9 is fitted to the grooves. Both the filter medium 9 and the partition members 7 are simultaneously bonded to the top board 2 or the bottom board 3.
