摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a vehicle characteristic in traveling on the whole curves by determining whether or not a vehicle exists in a curve exit area, and changing engagement to an output variable in the direction for improving traction of the vehicle when the vehicle exists in the curve exit area. SOLUTION: First of all, a curve state is determined on the basis of a change d-ay in lateral directional acceleration, a measured or evaluated vehicle speed vfz and a speed difference dvna of a wheel of an undriven wheel. For example, when the change d-ay in the lateral directional acceleration exceeds a critical value d-ay0, curve travel exists. When this value is less than the prescribed critical value d-ay0, a vehicle exists in a curve exit area. At a curve exit, a slip threshold value is adjusted so as to be raised more than a slip threshold value imparted at curve traveling time to improve traction. Thus, the slip threshold value and torque control are adjusted as a function of the curve state in response to an existing curve state.
