<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branched aortic prosthesis that is implanted in human aorta to treat aneurysm at an arterial branch point and that can be implanted simply and rapidly to effectively treat aneurysm, and also can prevent the above eddy of blood from returning up toward renal artery. SOLUTION: This branched aortic prosthesis includes a shape-memory type structure 2 having a main trunk part 3 that splits into two branches 4, 5 with an identical length and at least one impermeable envelope 6 that completely encircles the branches 4, 5 and at least partially encircles the main trunk part 3. Here, the length of the branches 4 and 5 is 1/4 to 2/5 of the length L of envelope.</p> |
