PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion which is excellent in strength and which can securely hold an object to be packed. SOLUTION: An external board 2, a top board 3 and an internal board 4 which are successively connected with both side rims of a base board 1 are rolled to form a side wall 23, and a top board 7 and an internal end board 8 which are successively connected from external end boards 6 connected with both end rims of each external board 2 are rolled to form an end wall material 24. The end wall materials 24 at respective ends are overlaid and rolled by an external cover board 13, a top cover board 14 and an internal cover board 16 which are successively connected with the base board 1, thereby forming an end wall. Since a load of an object to be packed is supported by the rigid end wall comprising the double structured end wall materials 24 which are overlaid, a permanent strain does not occur even if a permanent load or a large impact works.
