PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent repellence of a water solution of a PVA resin or a residue of bubble when manufacturing a shaped sheet having a templating layer made of the resin from a mold for manufacturing the sheet having a polyester resin layer. SOLUTION: The mold (intermediate mold) 10 for manufacturing a shaped sheet is used when manufacturing the shaped sheet 20 having a templating layer 21' made of a polyvinyl alcohol resin. In this case, the mold comprises a polyester resin layer 12' obtained by duplicating a rugged pattern of an original on a surface and contains a water absorbable resin in the layer 12'.
