摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight vibration absorbing alloy having high vibration absorbing characteristics and excellent in workability by subjecting an alloy contg. one or two kinds of Li, Ti, Zr, Mn, Sc, Y and rare earth elements and the balance essential Al and contg., as assistant components, one or more kinds of various elements to a stage of high temp. heat treatment or cold working after heat treatment. SOLUTION: This alloy has a compsn. contg. one or more kinds of Li, Ti, Zr and Mn, by atom, of 0.01 to 15% in total and one or more kinds of Sc, Y and rare earth elements of 0.01 to 10% in total and the balance essentially Al and contg., as assistant components, one or >= two kinds among Zn, Pb and Sb of <=30%, Ge, Si, Mg, Cd, In, Tl and Bi of <=25%, Fe, Co and Ni of <=20, Cu, V, Cr, Mo, W, Nb, Ta, Ag, Au and platinum group elements of <=10% and B and Ca of <=5% by 0.01 to 35% in total and has >=10×10-3 damping capacity. As to the producing method, after heating at 250 deg.C to the temp. below the m.p. for >=5 min, cooling is executed at >=0.1 deg.C/sec, or after the cooling, cold working of >=5% is executed.
