PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process for a Diels-Alder adduct that can inhibit the polymer from sticking to the inner wall of the reactor. SOLUTION: In the case that a reactor of the tank type is used, the reactor having a partial vapor-phase space is increased the inner pressure by introducing an inert gas, then a mixture of conjugated diolefin and acrylonitrile is fed in liquid-phase to produce the Diels-Alder adduct thereof, the inner wall of the reactor, the outer face and the inner face of the mixture-delivering pipes are made their roughness <=5μm and the pipes for feeding the mixture is immersed in the reaction mixture thereby feeding the feedstock into the liquid phase.
