PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection stand which can inspect effectively. SOLUTION: In this inspection stand 20, the drive device 6 for driving a car 2 or one part of a control device 4 is arranged on the upper part of an elevating road 1 or the upper machine room 8 of the elevating road 1. The inspection stand 20 is composed of a fixed member 21 and a floor member 23 supported thereto and the floor member 23 is installed on the fixed member 21 so as to be able to move the lower position and higher position than the highest reaching point of the car 2 in the horizontal projection plane of the car 2.
