PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for solidifying a low boiling point organic compound, to provide a method for taking out the low boiling point organic compound in the original state from the solidified product, and to provide a method for treating the low boiling point organic compound by the utilization of the methods. SOLUTION: This method for solidifying a low boiling point organic compound comprises bringing the low boiling point organic compound into contact with a metal aliphatic carboxylate and a high boiling point organic compound dispersed in water to form the solid aggregate. The method for treating the low boiling point organic compound comprises storing or transporting the formed solid aggregate, and the method for reclaiming the boiling point organic compound comprises thermally decomposing the solid aggregate to obtain the low boiling point organic compound.
