PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant which has improved glass transition temperature and high-temperature heat stability by using a perfluoropolyether containing arranged oxyperfluoroalkylene units and having sulfony fluoride groups on the side chains. SOLUTION: A perfluoropolyether used is represented by the formula [wherein T is -CF2X (wherein X is F, CF3 or C1), -C3F7, -CF(CF3) COF,-CF2COF or -CF2COCF3; a, b and c are each 0 or a positive integer; and d, e, f and h are each a positive integer provided a+b+c+d+e+f+h is such a number as to give a number average mol.wt. of 500 to 5×105], is prepared by subjecting perfluoro-3-oxa-5-fluorosulfonyl-1-oebtene and another perfluoroolefin to oxidative polymerization and has a glass transition tempertature of -130 to -60 deg.C. |
