PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new belt length adjuster for use with a belt such as the shoulder belt of a bag or camera, etc., which has excellent effect as simple in arrangement, convenient to use, and high in reliability. SOLUTION: A body 1 is formed having a pair of right and left rear end side bearing walls on both the right and left sides of the back of a rear end and having a pair of right and left front end side bearing walls on both the right and left sides of the back of a front end. A connecting shaft 7 for a fixed belt 6 is provided between the rear end side bearing walls and a connecting shaft 10 for a movable belt 9 provided with a stepped pin hole 8 is provided between the front end side bearing walls. The mid point of an operating member 11 is supported against the connecting belt 10 for the movable belt in such a way as to freely make lever motion and a spring is locked to the operating member 11 in such a way as to impart an elastic force in an inward direction to the tip of the operating member 11. Further, a locking pin 13 is stood inside the tip of the operating member 11.
