PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat cover which can be correctly fitted over a bucket type seat and which will not lose its shape even after many years of use. SOLUTION: This seat cover comprises a backrest center 1 and a framed backrest outer periphery 2 fastened to the outer periphery of the backrest center 1. The backrest outer periphery 2 consists of an outer peripheral top portion 21, an outer peripheral bottom portion 22, an outer peripheral left portion 23 and an outer peripheral right portion 24, all of which wrap a hard elastic core material. The outer peripheral left portion 23 has its inside laid on and fastened to the upper surface of the left end of each of the outer peripheral top and bottom portions, and the outer peripheral right portion has its inside laid on and fastened to the upper surface of the right end of each of the outer peripheral top and bottom portions.
