PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the adjustment and preparation time for the following printing operation and improve the printing efficiency by carrying out in parallel the circulation recovering and cleaning work for an ink circulating system during the printing operation without discontinuing the printing operation. SOLUTION: A bank section 7 holding the circulating ink liquid level (h) along the rotating shaft direction of a plate cylinder is provided in an ink pan 4 for making adhere and feeding an ink I on a rotating gravure plate cylinder 1, and an ink feed opening 5 and an ink feed pipe are provided on the plate cylinder side of the ink pan, while an ink discharge outlet 6 discharging the ink overflowing the bank section into an ink tank 8 and an ink discharge pipe are provided respectively through a discharge cap 15 or a discharge valve 16 on the outside of the bank section, and the ink feed pipe with a recovery pipe and a transferring and flowing pipe of an ink transferring and flowing pipe 10 sucking the ink in the ink tank through a suction pipe are communicated with one another through a three-way valve 11 in a gravure printing ink circulating system indicated in the drawing. |
