PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified method for manufacturing a connector. SOLUTION: A connector to be used for connecting a fluid pipe to the opening of a constituent part formed of a thermoplastic material is manufactured by forming its first part in the thermoplastic material. A second part and a third part of the connector are formed of the thermoplastic material and are mutually fused. The first and the second part are connected liquid-tightly outside a casting mold. A material for the third part to be selected is of such a kind that is can be formed to be connected to the thermoplastic material of the constituent part by fusion. The connector may be of such a kind that it has another part and is manufactured by injection-molding the outside first part, an inner layer and an intermediate layer. Materials to be selected for the outside first layer and the inner layer are different in properties from a material to be selected for the intermediate layer in terms of strength, impact resistance and creep characteristics. Either of the outside first part, the inner layer or the intermediate layer is formed so as to be provided with impermeablility to diffusion. |
