SKIN-PROTECTING CREAM COMPOSITION AND THE USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin-protecting cream that exhibits non-surfactant oil-in- water type liquid crystal structure having the composition and the structure resembling to the skin cell membrane in order to sufficiently exhibit the efficacy of the ceramide and phytosphingosine and provide the production process. SOLUTION: The ceramide, cholesterol and fatty acids as the lipid components between the cells of the skin horny layer are added at a composition ratio resembling the skin protecting membrane, further the non-surfactant O/W (oil in water) type emulsion cosmetic composition including the phospholipid as the main components of the skin epithelial cell membrane and phytosphingosine or its derivative as a physiologically active substance is used to prepare the objective skin-protecting emulsion composition including large amounts of ceramide and sphingolipid having the same stereochemical structure as those distributing in the living body.
