PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamping device capable of protecting a stamped surface by impressing by a stamp without trouble when a depressor is depressed, and covering the surface formed at the stamp when the pressor is not depressed. SOLUTION: When a depressor 101 is depressed to a first position, a shutter depressing wall 107 is brought into contact with a protrusion 44 of a shutter 41, and the shutter 41 is depressed against an urging force of a first tensile spring 91. The shutter 41 in which the protrusion 44 is depressed starts opening a stamped surface 33 by a cover 43. Further, when the depressor 101 is depressed to a second position, an oscillating portion depressing wall 109 is brought into contact with an oscillating portion 50, and the stamp 31 in which the surface 31 is released is depressed. Subsequently, when the depressor 101 is depressed, the surface 31 of the stamp 31 is advanced to a card inserting passage 14 through a hole 11b formed at an upper side base 11, and an identification display marked on the surface 33 is impressed to a predetermined position of the card C.
