PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stripping sheet for electrolyzing metal having sufficient strength even to bending and twisting in all directions, high in strength even in the case of relatively small rugged width of about several mm, moreover good in a flattening degree and capable of preventing short-circuit in an electrodepositing stage in an electrolytic cell. SOLUTION: This stripping sheet is used for electrolytic refining or electrolytic extraction for metal, and the cross-section is formed into a rugged shape like a folding screen with plural folds consisting of straight lines or straight grooves mutually parallel in the longitudinal direction of the stripping sheet and continuous approximately <-shaped straight lines or straight grooves mutually parallel in the horizontal direction, or plural folds consisting of straight lines or straight grooves provided lengthwise and breadthwise so as to parallel to each edge part of the stripping sheet and also to be mutually orthogonal, or plural folds consisting of wavy curved lines or curved grooves provided on the stripping sheet as starting points.
