PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly install a drum around which a messenger wire is wound. SOLUTION: With this drum frame, plural supporting rollers 13, 14 for supporting flanges on both sides of a drum D are provided on a base block 1. In both side positions of the drum D supported by the supporting rollers 13, 14, a bearing arm 21 which can freely rise and fall, and a turnbuckle 32 which can freely rise and fall and which oscillates the bearing arm 21 to adjust the height of a bearing 24 provided at the free end part, are provided. After the flanges (f) on both sides of the drum D are placed on the supporting rollers 13, 14, the bearing arm 21 is oscillated by rotatably operating the turnbuckle 32 to adjust the height of the bearing 24, and a shaft 26 is thus inserted from a shaft insertion hole of the bearing 24 to put the drum D in an installation state.
