PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the peeling of an outer skin and the displacement of a helical pipe with simple stages by forming the helical pipe of a flexible pipe which is coated with a net-like pipe on the outer periphery of the helical pipe and is coated with the outer skin made of a resin on its outer periphery of a material which is melted by the heat of the outer skin resin melted in extrusion molding and is fused to the outer skin. SOLUTION: The flexible pipe 1 to be externally mounted with the insertion part, etc. of the endoscope is tightly coated with the net-like pipe 20 on the outer periphery of the helical pipe 10 and the helical pipe 10 is formed of the synthetic resin material, for example, polyurethane, polyamide, epoxy, etc., having the melting point below the melting point of the stock resin of the outer skin 30. When the outer skin 30 is extrusion molded to the outside surface of the net-like pipe 20 in the state that the helical pipe 10 is coated with the net-like pipe 20, the stock resin of the outer skin 30 melted by heating comes into contact with the front surface of the helical pipe 10 through the stitches 22 of the net-like pipe 20 and the helical pipe 10 is melted by the heat thereof. Consequently, the outer skin 30 and the helical pipe 10 are put into the state that both are melted and bonded. The outer skin 30 and the helical pipe 10 are securely fused and bonded via the stitches 22 of the net-like pipe 20.
