PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride resin end grain material having a primer layer capable of preventing a decrease in an adhesive strength due to change of the material with time. SOLUTION: The vinyl chloride resin end grain material is obtained by coating a rear surface side of the material with a primer solution obtained by blending 50 to 95 wt.% of at least one kind of a thermoplastic resin binder selected from a urethane resin, copolymer polyester resin and acrylic resin with 5 to 50 wt.% of hydrocalumite particles, and providing a primer layer having a thickness of 1 to 5μm.
