civil engineering; applicable in replacement of, mainly, metal pipelines. SUBSTANCE: hole is formed by longitudinal partition of old pipeline with its subsequent disclosure. Disclosure of old pipeline is the most rational when it is performed in pipeline lower part. Device is made in the form of impact unit of pointed rib at an angle to device axis and provided with a supporting rib installed opposite to pointed rib. The supporting rib would be appropriate to install at an angle close to zero with respect to device axis. Pointed rib may be thickening towards tail part of the device. It makes possible not only to cut old pipeline in one place but also to disclose it in the form of dome using as protective dome, and to cut old pipeline in unstable grounds.
