PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which is easy to wear while a wearer is standing on both feet. SOLUTION: This diaper 10 has a diaper body 18 with a hip part 12 and an abdominal part 14 deployed across a crotch part 16, and has engagement means 22, 34 provided respectively on each side 20 of the hip part 12 and on each side 28 of the abdominal part 14 and being freely removably attachable to each other. The engagement means 22, 34 include: a plurality of hook pieces 26 provided on the hip part 12 to project toward the abdominal part 14; locking surfaces formed on the hook pieces 26 to face the hip part 12; a plurality of hook pieces 36 provided on the abdominal part 14 to project toward the hip part 12; and locking surfaces formed on the hook pieces 36 to face the abdominal part 14. At least one of the hook pieces 26, 36 is sandwiched between the other pair of hook pieces 36, 26 and the locking surface of the hook piece 26 abuts on the locking surface of the hook piece 36 whereby the hook pieces 26, 36 are engaged with each other. |
