PIECE MAT FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the inside of an automobile room quiet by mainly constituting a piece mat of a pile structure and a low density porous sound absorbing material stuck to the reverse. SOLUTION: A piece mat 30 is mainly constituted of a pile structure 31 of a surface layer and a sound absorbing material 32 stuck to the reverse. The pile structure is formed by applying latex work to the reverse of base cloth for preventing slipping-out of pile by implanting the pile 31b in the base cloth 31a composed of polyester fiber. The sound absorbing material 32 is a low density porous sound absorbing material, and felt mainly constituted of slab urethane foam, polyethylene foam and polyester fiber having density less than 0.1 g/cm3 is suitable. The piece mat has flexibility for following a floor carpet of a placed position when placed on the floor carpet as a whole.
