PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy in the hitting position of a print dot by starting print operation while equalizing the temperature and temperature gradient for each scan of an ink jet part. SOLUTION: Prior to movement/printing of first scan, ink temperature is detected and temperature data (temperature, temperature gradient) is preserved. Movement/printing of first scan is then carried out and the number of scanning time is set at +1. Subsequently, ink temperature is detected again and compared with that of the first scan. If they match each other, N-th movement/printing is carried out otherwise the temperature is detected and printing of each scan is started when identical temperature data is obtained. According to the arrangement, ink temperature difference is about 0.1 deg.C or less between scans when a print dot is ejected at the same position in the vertical direction, and the speed difference can be confined in the range of±0.015-0.03 m/s when the ink ejection speed is about 7 m/s. |
