PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoration method cheap and most suitable for ring-shaped toys that is possible to give beautiful and liberated decoration simply and steadily in a short time, requiring no skill, and that anybody can easily conduct mass production of decorations from complicate to simple in good finishing state, reduce production cost. SOLUTION: This is a decoration method of appropriately decorating outer surface of ring-shaped toys, and it forms a nearly long cylindrical Toy's base material A appropriately with a synthetic resin material and a seat base material 1 appropriately with a synthetic resin material having thermal shrinkability, provides a decorated layer appropriately expressing appropriate figure, pattern, color, character, etc., on the seat base material 1 with printing or others, forms a nearly long cylindrical coating material B by welding a pair of long side edge portions of the seat base material 1, externally mantles the coating material B on the toy's base material A, connects the both ends of the toy's base material A through an appropriate joint means C and together forms the toy's base material A in a ring shape, and heats the coating material B and together coats external surface of the toy's base material A with the coating material B by letting it thermally shrink.
