PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the purity of recovered components and simultaneously to improve a recycling rate by stepwisely classifying composite wastes in accordance with the respective content ratios of ceramics, ferrous metals, nonferrous metals and plastics and physical characteristics. SOLUTION: A classifying means 4 is provided with a magnetic separating means 8, an eddy current separating means 9, a pulverizing means 10 and a sieving and separating means 11. The magnetic separating means 8 supplies the composite wastes to a revolving roller provided with magnets and allowing the nonferrous metals insensitive to the magnets to fall as they are, thereby recovering these metals. Also, the eddy current separating means 9 springs out the conductive components included in the composite wastes from a conveyor by the magnetic fields generated in consequence of the eddy current generated in the conductive components and recovers these components in a separately disposed recovering means. Further, the composite wastes, such as ceramics crushed by the pulverizing means 10 are pulverized and the pulverized composite wastes are sorted by the sieving and separating means 11. |
