PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a gradient in an install environment by arranging a magnetic field forming means for forming a magnetostatic field in the housing space of an object and a supporting means for supporting the magnetic field forming means in the install environment so as to change the gradient. SOLUTION: A main magnetic field coil part forms the magnetostatic field in the internal space of a magnet system 100 and a gradient coil part generates a gradient magnetic field for inclining the strength of the magnetostatic field. A horizontal axis 32 of the magnet system 100 passes a center O of the magnetostatic field and is vertical to the direction of the magnetostatic field. A rotary actuator 36 is provided on a support arm 34, to which the horizontal axis 32 is attached so as to rotate, and the magnet system 100 is rotationally displaced relatively to the support arm 34 by applying a rotational force to the horizontal axis 32. The direction and angle of the pitching tilt of the magnet system 100 due to the rotary actuator 36 are controlled by a tilt control part 110 and the angle detecting signal of a rotational angle detector 38 is fed back to the tilt control part 110.
