<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video game device capable of reliably changing the image of a player character or an image by the view point of the player character with a gun type controller according to the intention of a player. SOLUTION: If an aimed position on the display screen of a display device 2 is not detected by an aimed position detecting means constituted of a photosensor 13, a vertical counter 11, a horizontal counter 12, and a CPU 5 when the action of a trigger is detected by a trigger operation detecting means constituted of a trigger switch 14 and the CPU 5, a video signal generating means constituted of the CPU 5 and a synthetic image signal generating circuit 10 is controlled by an image control means constituted of the CPU 5 so that the image of a play character displayed on the display screen of the display device 2 or an image by the view point of the play character becomes the image of the play character in a moving or rotating state.</p> |
