<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement clinker cooler which is capable of improving efficiency of heat exchange between cement clinker and cooling air, and accordingly, the overall energy efficiency of which can be improved and also the size of which can be reduced. SOLUTION: In this cement clinker cooler, cement clinker 5 is supported by plural grate plates 20 each having plural air blowing holes 21 formed through the grate plate 20, and conveyed while cooling the cement clinker with cooling air flowing out through the air blowing holes 21. The air blowing hole 21 of each of the grate plates 20 are formed so that air is blown out through these blowing holes 21 in an opposite direction to the direction of conveyance movement of the cement clinker.</p> |
