PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stable welding of a pipe, and to secure a straightness of the pipe when the pipe is attached to an end plate by welding, and an ozonizer is manufactured. SOLUTION: An ozonizer has a pair of end plates 2 and many pipes 3 attached between the end plates 2. A pipe end 3a of the pipe 3 is firstly inserted into a hole 2a of the end plate 2, and the pipe end 3a is retained by a retainer 11 fitted into the pipe end 3a. A welding equipment 12 is supported by the retainer 11, the welding equipment 12 rotates a welding rod 13 along between an outer circumference of the pipe end 3a and an inner circumference of an opening hole 2a. Welding heat to the pipe 3 escapes to the retainer 11.
