PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cellulose triacetate fiber imparted with a soft feeling, flexibility and wet feeling, and to provide its method of production. SOLUTION: This triacetate fiber constituted of plural single fibers consists of single fibers of which >=60% of the total single fibers has >=0.11 dtex and <0.89 dtex single fiber fineness, and the method for producing the cellulose triacetate fiber comprises removing only cellulose diacetate component in a composite fiber in which the cellulose triacetate component is partitioned as plural by the cellulose diacetate components at the cross section in right angle direction to the fiber axis. |
