PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deteriorating speed of food by replacing the inside of a container or bag filled with pre-frozen food with inert gas and heat-sealing. SOLUTION: A food packaging container or bag is formed of a laminate sheet/film having at least an oxygen as barrier resin layer comprising nylon and an ethylene-acetate copolymer saponified substance and a heat-sealable thermoplastic resin layer. The container or bag is filled with pre-frozen food, and then the interior of the container or the bag is replaced with inert gas to have the container or bag heat-sealed. The inert gas is used to prevent deterioration of the food due to oxygen gas remaining in the container of bag, and comprises nitrogen, carbon dioxide or their mixture gas. In addition, the container is sealed by heat-sealing with a lid material, and the bag is sealed by heat-sealing an opening. The high quality frozen food can thus be preserved for a long time without degrading its quality.
